Having been inspired by the long running trope in movies and games where black robed magic users follow the orders of their dark lords in the high fantasy genre. 'Traitors' is a webcomic about the rise and fall of a cult devoted(or once devoted) to an individual known as The Obsidian Keeper,which is set in the original fantasy universe of Xarion.

Arcane magic is considered treason in Armillii and the city is in it's third civil war against the people who wish to live sheltered, traditionalist lives versus the Obsidian Keeper Acolytes who think Armillii and it's magical history is too important to give up. Nobody knows what's right from wrong anymore and there are no heroes in this story, just survivors. 18+ for language, violence, (M/F)sexual content, drugs, torture
